About the Artist

From her childhood in Roseburg, Oregon, Vicki developed a love for the beauty of nature. Her early adventures catching fish, climbing trees, and raising a menagerie of pets instilled in her spirit a fascination for wildlife. Her mother, a professional china painter, and her father, who taught her to draw before she could read, fostered her natural creativity and artistic heritage from an early age.

At 19, Vicki married her high school sweetheart Ron, and they put themselves through college by making and selling artistic plaques out of their garage. Vicki's artistry, combined with his administrative skills, built a flourishing family business. For over 19 years VickiLane creations, featured in ''Collector Editions'' magazine, have been delighting home decorators nationwide.

Designing and sculpting in her studio year-round, Vicki produces innovative quality home accents in sync with today's style.
